Frequently Asked Questions
How do you handle projects after the loss of a loved one?
With empathy and respect, I can help organize, donate, or repurpose belongings, and thoughtfully redesign the space to bring comfort and healing.
What is a Memory Box?
A Memory Box is a beautifully decorated keepsake box included in our service. During the sorting process, we carefully place meaningful items such as photos, letters, or small belongings inside. Each box carries a tender message—“Open when you miss me”—so families can reconnect with special memories whenever their hearts long for them.
What happens to the donated items?
At Harmony Homes by Amanda, donations are never sent to thrift stores where items are resold. Instead, we work directly with community centers and local organizations to identify families truly in need—whether facing poverty, loss, or recovering from natural disasters. In many cases, the families themselves come to pick up the donated items, ensuring your loved one’s belongings directly benefit those who need them most.
How much do your service packages cost?
Our service packages start at $250. Pricing depends on the size and scope of the project, but I believe design should be accessible, so there are options for every budget.
Do you offer virtual services?
I provide in-person services only, as I believe the best results come from working directly in your home. However, I do offer a consultation to understand your needs and provide an estimate before starting the project.
What is the difference between home staging and redecoration?
Home staging prepares a property for sale, highlighting its best features to attract buyers. Redecoration is more personal—it focuses on refreshing or updating a space for you and your family to enjoy.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the service. A simple room refresh or staging can be done in a few hours, while larger projects may take several days. We’ll always discuss a timeline before starting.
Do you only work in Florida, or do you offer remote services?
I’m based in Florida and serve clients in Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas Counties with in-person services. I also offer virtual options, so I can work with clients anywhere in the U.S. and worldwide.
Can you help with small projects, like a single room?
Absolutely!
No project is ever too small—sometimes transforming just one room can make the biggest difference.
Do I need to buy new furniture, or can we work with what I already have?
We can definitely work with what you already own. Sometimes rearranging, adding small details, or incorporating new colors is enough to refresh the entire space.
