Flip Design + Redesign Living Room with Mini Home Office

This project was completed using a combination of Flip Design Consulting and Redesign to create a living room that feels elegant, functional, and adaptable to modern living.

The main inspiration for this space came from the wallpaper used to create a small home office nook. Within the wallpaper, subtle blue and gold tones became the foundation for the overall color direction of the room. Because the living room features a large wall, the design strategy focused on containing the wallpaper to a defined area, avoiding visual overload while still adding character.

Instead of covering an entire wall, a compact work-from-home space was created for homeowners who need a dedicated office area but don’t have extra rooms. This small office feels intentional and practical without competing with the main living space.

The office area was styled with a white desk accented with warm metallic details, simple wall shelves for books and plants, and soft lighting to keep the nook functional yet inviting. The wallpaper adds personality while keeping the space visually connected to the rest of the room.

Throughout the living room, a deep blue accent wall adds depth, while light-toned furniture keeps the space balanced and comfortable. The mix of soft neutrals, blue tones, warm metallic accents, and vintage-inspired details creates a space that feels timeless rather than trend-driven.

The result is a living room that feels welcoming, flexible, and thoughtfully designed—showing how strategic Flip Design, combined with Redesign, can adapt a home to real lifestyles while maintaining strong visual appeal.
